Mounam

Originally from Cameroon, Mounam is the female voice of « The Dynamics » Lyon’s top reggae dub soul band.
Since 1991, she has been a « student » of live music and she has been invited to participate on many projects, such as : Slovo Nommo (Rufflife records-UK), MJA (le Maquis-Fr), Nutropic (Nocturne-Fr) and Mr president (Favorite recordings-Fr). Today, she is giving us her first 45 « What needs Mama ».
A collaboration with the groove-funk band Trevor & Lisa, this track bubbles with Afro-Soul, making it irresistible on the dance floor. On B side, here is the sensual and hypnotic remix version of Dwilt Sharpp.
