National Theatre of Namibia

National Theatre of Namibia (NTN) is a non-governmental association that was established on 15 August 1989. Before 1989, NTN operated as SWAPAC (South West Africa Performing Arts Council). The institution facilitates the development of artists and productions that are inspired by Namibia's diversity. Its objective is to develop and deliver outstanding training / educational programs for the development of performing arts. In addition, NTN has the mandate of developing, presenting and promoting Namibia's rich and diverse forms of culture expression. The organization also provides its facilities for productions and to theatre practitioners who support the achievement of its vision.
