Abou Mdewele

Bio

Abou Mdewele (Abou Omary Mdewele) is a bongo flava musician from Tanzania.

He started his music career in 2016 shortly after joining the Arts and Culture Institute (TaSUBa). After joining TaSUBa, Mdewele and five other students formed a music band known as the voice of revolution (V.O.R) one of the most famous youth bands in Bagamoyo. The band had getting the opportunities to perform various concerts in and out of Bagamoyo. and in that band, Abou Mdewele was a singer, guitarist and even a writer.

Abou Mdewele started his solo career after the band agreed that each member could performs their own music outside of the band and at the end of the year in 2017 he released the song titled 'Street Children'. After that he gained a great reputation for being the only one student playing left-hand guitar in the college.

In 2019, he graduated from the Arts and Culture Institute (TaSUBa) and released a song collaborating with Legato titled 'My Love', a track released on Audiomack, soundcloud and Youtube. One of the best song for Abou Mdewele and loved by so many.
In jan 2020 he released song on Audiomack, SoundCloud and YouTube titled 'Wewe'.
