Frank Edwards
Bio
Frank (Ugochukwu) Edwards is a Nigerian gospel singer. Born in 1990 in the South-eastern state Enugu, Edwards has five siblings. An early talent, he began singing age 10 and as a teenager learned to play the piano.
Edwards, whose sound veers from traditional to mid-tempo rock, is a member of the band of Chris Oyakhilome, pastor of Christ Embassy Church in Nigeria. Along with the singer Sinach, he is one of the more popular members of the church’s choir.
He released the album ‘The Definition’ in 2008 and since then has had five more albums including Angels on the Runway (2010) and Unlimited (2011).
At the 2013 African Gospel Music Awards, Edwards won the Male Artist of the Year category. He is on a self-owned label Rocktown Records.
