Bio
Salatiel né Salatiel Livenja Bessong est un chanteur, musicien, arrangeur et producteur camerounais, fondateur du label Alpha Better Records. Passionné par la musique, Salatiel écrit d'abord des textes pour le gospel avant d'apprendre à jouer le piano, la guitare, et la batterie. Il monte plus tard son propre groupe Salas Band.
En 2010, il participe avec un autre groupe Da Trill à un concours de musique Nescafé Africa où il gagne la première place. Trois années plus tard, il lance son label Alpha Better Records qui produits des artistes talentueux comme Mr Leo et Blaise B. Il collabore avec d'autres artistes comme arrangeur et producteur notamment la chanteuse camerounaise afropop Daphné, dont il produit la plupart de ses tubes comme "Calée"et "Jusqu'à la gare".
Salatiel est également connu pour son célèbre tube "Anita" sorti en 2018. En 2019, sa carrière est propulsée à l'international grâce à sa collaboration sur le titre "Water" issu de l'album "The Lion King : The Gift" de la star américaine Beyoncé.
Salatiel sort en 2020 un premier album baptisé " Africa Represented".
