Born 11 Augúst 1988, Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi, better known by his stage name Kwesta, is a South African born rapper and songwriter. He was born in Katlehong in the East Rand, Gauteng. As of 2016 he was signed to Urbantainment. When he was a a teenager, he convinced his mother to give him taxi fare necessary to get to Buttabing Entertainment's offices. This meeting resulted in Kwesta being added to Buttabing Entertainment's roster, co-owned by founding members Shugasmakx and Slikour. In early 2010, Kwesta was selected to become a Brand SA ambassador performing as the headline act at the nationwide roadshow tour in the run-up to the FIFA World Cup.

His debut studio album titled 'Special Rekwest' was released in September 2010. His first single is 'Stomp' Other singles includes 'Flash It', 'Babhemi', 'Flava' and 'Pump It'. He was 22 years old when he releases his first album.

In 2003, he and friends formed a music outfit called Ghetto Fellaz, which was later named The Juvenylz after adding another member. the crew was never signed. Senzo later dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to pursue full-time music career. He started recording his first demo at home studio. The demo caught the attention of Africa's Most Southern Record Company (AMS), which eventually allowed him to use their recording facilities to allow him to harness his rapping skills.

On 25 November 2013, he released a studio album titled DaKAR (Da King of Afrikan Rap). the album debuted on the South African iTunes Hip-hop / Rap Chart at number 3 behind Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP II and Drake's 'Nothing Was the Same'. The album was well received by fans and music industry insiders.

On 26 February 2016, he released his third studio album 'DaKAR II'. The album received positive feedback and encouragement from fellow students and teachers.
