Zambian artists expand reach with SA tour and Malawi festival slot
Zambian musicians MeStar Ndalama and Deeletwin have completed a successful tour of South Africa, earning widespread recognition across Southern Africa ahead of their upcoming performance at the Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi.

The two artists — real names Victor Ndalama and Derrick Ngoma — toured alongside South African musicians Tella Nation and Axe Ray. The group, signed under Delight Productions, performed at several venues across Soweto, Randfontein, Kempton Park, Maseru and Randburg.
During the tour, the artists collaborated with a number of South African musicians and producers to record new material blending Zambian and South African sounds. Their performances drew attention from audiences and peers in the regional music industry, culminating in an invitation to perform at the National Lesotho Music Awards.
Their growing regional profile will see MeStar Ndalama, Deeletwin, Axe Ray and Tella Nation perform later this month at Malawi’s Lake of Stars Festival, one of Africa’s leading music and arts events. The appearance is expected to further cement their reputation as emerging representatives of Zambian music.
The artists were discovered through the Africa Music Conference (AMC), a continental initiative aimed at connecting creative talent with industry opportunities. Delight Productions, the label representing the group, has been instrumental in promoting artists who celebrate African heritage and traditional sounds.
