Spotify is giving Google Home Mini speakers to Premium users

According to Spotify, the offer is available “while supplies last.” Last year, the music streaming service offered the same promotion to its Family Plan members.

“Spotify Premium user?” Spotify said. “You can get a free Google Home Mini whether you signed up last year or just now. We’re bringing back our Google Home Mini offer and making it available to even more users.

“Last year we unveiled this offer for Spotify Premium for family users, introducing households to a new, exciting way to enjoy music at home. Now we’re offering it for our users with individual plans. Streaming your favourite tunes and music playlists has never been so easy or hands-off.

"Through our streaming capabilities and unique partnerships, Spotify Premium offers an unparalleled experience: an entire world of entertainment at an unbeatable price.

Spotify said it’s renewed offer with Google Home Mini was another way the company was “giving users access to music, anytime, anywhere, now with a better experience in the home through the magic of voice”.

Following the partnership between Spotify and Google last year, Spotify chief premium business officer Alex Norström said he was “excited to be partnering with Google Home to bring the magic of voice to our Spotify Premium Family subscribers".

"After all, what’s more fun than sharing the music you love with the people you love? For Family Plan subscribers, enjoying those moments will only get better. Now anytime their favourite artists come up, they can simply say ‘Hey Google, turn it up’,” he said
