SA: Lady Zamar signs with OpenMic Productions

OpenMic Productions is an independent music label that has worked with accomplished musicians across different genres such as bolo house, dance, gospel, R&B and amapiano. The label is best known for working with ‘Jerusalema’ hitmaker Master KG. 

Lady Zamar, whose last album Monarch was released in 2019, is currently in studio at OpenMic Productions working on her upcoming collection scheduled for release in March 2024. 

“I feel so honoured to be part of the OpenMic Productions family,” she said. “I’m looking forward to a great, amazing, fruitful and wonderful working relationship with them.

“It’s going to be a great journey and I look forward to every high and low that I will be embarking on with them. I know they will have my back and they will support me and I will do my best as an artist to bring my best and always put my best foot forward.”

Lady Zamar musical journey started in 2015 when she joined forces with Junior Taurus, which resulted in their debut album Cotton Candy. Her 2017 album King Zamar went double platinum in South Africa. She has won five South African Music Awards.
