SA: Inaugural Music on the Hill Awards set for 2 December

The awards programme was founded by local music promoter Innocent Shezi of Shezi Entertainment. It will be sponsored by Olivia Cosmetics with support from a number of agencies and organisations.

“The Music on the Hill Awards (MOTHAs) are unique as they not only celebrate the excellence of performers but also technical and support professionals such as producers, artist managers, record labels and event organisers, among others,” the organisers said.

Following the launch, the organisers are inviting local artists to submit entries ahead of the nominations ceremony on 27 October. The gala ceremony is set to be held on 2 December.

Entrants should fill in this form and submit it via email at [email protected] before 9 October. Read the rules and regulations here before submitting.

All nominees will receive a medal of nomination and a certificate. Winners in each category will receive a trophy, certificate and various prizes from relevant sponsors and partners.
