South African Bacardi artist Big Baller_CEO has released a new body of work titled Mufasa Will 4Ever Rise, a project that builds on his growing presence in Pretoria’s emerging Bacardi scene.

The release draws on themes of legacy and resilience, using the symbolic reference to Mufasa from The Lion King as a metaphor for leadership and longevity. It arrives as part of the artist’s continued output within a genre that blends local Bacardi rhythms with contemporary production styles.
Big Baller_CEO, born Oratile Kgwatlha, is among a new generation of Pretoria-based artists contributing to the development of the Bacardi sound. His music is rooted in high-energy dance rhythms associated with the genre, which has gained traction in South Africa’s underground and club circuits.
The project follows his 2025 album BigBaller Ke Moruti, which included tracks such as ‘Mexico’, ‘Wallet Yaka’ featuring Jelly Babie, ‘911’ and ‘December’. He also released the single “O Fitlhile” earlier in 2025.
Big Baller_CEO has described the new project as a statement of intent and endurance. “There’s a certain kind of authority that can’t be manufactured. It’s lived, it’s earned, and it echoes long after the moment has passed,” he said.
The artist added that the project reflects a narrative of continuity and personal growth within the genre.
The Bacardi style associated with his work is characterised by fast-paced percussion and dance-driven arrangements, and has become increasingly visible in South African youth music culture, particularly in Pretoria.
Mufasa Will 4Ever Rise is available on major streaming platforms.
