Open call: AIR Festival 2026 seeks local talent in Knysna
The organisers of African Indigenous Renaissance (AIR) Festival are inviting creatives from Knysna and surrounding areas to apply for the 2026 edition of the event set to take place at Loerie Park in South Africa on 21 March.

- Stall size requirements

- Photos of food and stall/truck
- Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) number
- Health and Safety compliance status
- Power and space requirements
Application process:
- Applications must be submitted via email at info@wcartsfest.org.za
- Submission does not guarantee participation. All applicants will be evaluated by an independent panel.
- Final selection will be based on criteria, program capacity, and merit.
Additional notes:
- Preference will be given to youth, women, and persons with disabilities to align with the festival's inclusion objectives.
About the event
The AIR Festival is presented by Western Cape Arts Festivals, powered by Ariva Arts Foundation, in partnership with Knysna Municipality. Funding partners include: Western Cape Government Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS), National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC), Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), and the Presidential Employment Stimulus Program (PESP) cycle 6.
