Kenya: N’Jiru drops deep house anthem Hype Song
Kenyan vocalist and songwriter N’Jiru has released her first solo single of 2025, ‘Hype Song’.

The deep house track was produced by Kivuki and is available for streaming and download on major digital platforms.
Described as a “sonic baptism for the relentless dreamer,” ‘Hype Song’ combines vulnerability with confident swagger, wrapping confessional lyricism in hypnotic, club-ready production.
Producer Kivuki complements the vocals with a deeply textured soundscape, characterised by propulsive percussive grooves, icy piano stabs, rich basslines, and swirling synths. The result is a track that not only invites movement on the dance floor but also pays homage to the hustle behind personal growth and success.
For N’Jiru, ‘Hype Song’ is more than a club anthem, it’s a personal manifesto. “This song is for anyone who’s ever been told their dreams were too big,” she said. “That ‘Go bestie!’ ad-lib? That’s the sound of me choosing myself.”
