Ghana Music Awards USA: All the nominees

Now in their fourth year, the awards were established to celebrate Ghanaian musicians in the diaspora, particularly in the US. This year’s edition will run under the theme, For the Culture and Music and will reward artistic accomplishments in more than 30 categories.

Leading this year’s nominees are Humphrey Tetteh and C Burn who received seven nominations each. They are followed by Jay Hover and Kuami Eugene, who were each shortlisted in six categories. Black Sherif, Hertie Corgie, Cee Music and Jamin Beats all managed five nods apiece.

Black Sherif, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata are up for the coveted Artist of the Year Award, which was won by Diana Hamilton last year.
