Call for submissions: Vinilonga Short Film and Music Video Festival in Argentina
The organisers of Vinilonga Short Film and Music Video Festival are calling on artists and filmmakers from around the world to submit their music videos and short films ahead of the event, which will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 8 January 2021.
The festival seeks to be an international platform, which unites filmmakers and creators of different formats for their promotion and that of their work. The selected artists will be given the opportunity to present their work, which will also receive professional reviews and an open and eager audience.
In order to submit works, interested applicants should register here. The deadline for submissions is 25 September and successful candidates will be notified on 2 December.
Awards and prizes
- The best of the best award will receive a digital poster of the film made by the Vinilonga graphic designers' team.
- All selected films will receive digital certificates designed by the Vinilonga graphic designers' team.
- All submitted films and music videos will be considered for future editions of the festival and partner festivals.
Rules and terms
- Artists and filmmakers are encouraged to submit works of up to 20 minutes in length.
- Films must have subtitles in either English or Spanish.
- Submission letters and film/music video director's statements will be considered.
- All fees will be used to cover administrative costs and are not refundable.
- By submitting, participants declare to be responsible for any legal rights requirements thereby releasing the festival from any legal claims, liabilities and damages.
“We organise themes according to the trends of works registered to our open call,” a statement reads. “Based on the concept of each programme, we call on professionals from the film industry, musicians, and experts from different areas to propose dialogues. We want to showcase what makes you feel is worth telling. It can be a comedy, drama, a true story or a zombie story.”
