Call for registration: Free music career expo
American non-profit the Music Forward Foundation is calling on young people aged 16 to 24 from around the world to register for its free career expo called the All Access Festival on 30 September.
The virtual event is dedicated to promoting careers in the music industry and provides young people with the tools, resources and expertise to navigate the sector.
The expo will allow participants to engage in panel discussions, hands-on technical learning stations, experiential lounges, and artist and career feedback sessions. Attendees will gain direct access to industry professionals from major American entertainment companies like House of Blues, Live Nation, Ticketmaster, Concord, and more. They will also receive engagement opportunities with local employers and representatives from colleges and universities.
Music Forward is devoted to transforming young lives, inspiring careers and championing a more inclusive music industry. Its initiatives aim to break gender, poverty and racial barriers to accessing the music industry. They include artist development, career development, scholarships and the Blues SchoolHouse, which traces the history, evolution and impact of blues music.
The foundation says it has impacted 1 million young lives and invested more than $25m towards providing transformational experiences to youth from under-resourced communities.
All Access Festival will start at 6pm CAT and interested participants can register for the event here.
