Call for registration: Culture Funding Watch speed meeting
The Culture Funding Watch (CFW) in Tunisia is calling on interested participants to register for its Resources Mobilisation Digithon (RMD) speed meeting session to be held on 26 May.
RMD is a 24-hour digital speed meeting marathon that connects art and supporters of the creative industry with cultural and creative actors from around the world. It aims to create a space for reflection on existing funding and mobility mechanisms, support creative and artistic projects and allow participants to get informed.
“About 240 international donors and supporters will be invited to host a 'table' and present their support programme, its objectives and the eligibility criteria,” CFW said. “They will be surrounded by seven attendees who, once the donor has finished presenting, will have a Q&A session. Each round will take a maximum of 30 minutes per table. Attendees will switch tables throughout the day.”
CFW collects, sorts and disseminates funding opportunities while offering customised resources mobilisation services. It seeks to build long term sustainability capacity of cultural actors and organisations as well as promote the establishment of evidence-based advocacy towards sustainable, transparent and responsible art funding.
The registration process is ongoing, and interested individuals can register here.
