Call for entries: International Songwriting Competition
The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the US has reopened entries for two special promotions.
The annual song contest seeks to provide the opportunity for aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional and international arena.
Musicians from all over the world can submit songs in the following promotional categories:
- Love songs: The ISC's Love Songs promotion is for songs about love, falling in love, heartbreak, or anything to do with love.
- Social causes: ISC's Social Causes promotion is for songs about any social cause.
The application deadline is 26 November and the winners will be announced between April and May 2020.
The application fee is $35 and interested artists can submit their entries here.
“ISC is designed to nurture the musical talent of songwriters on all levels and promote excellence in the art of songwriting. Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians are invited to participate,” it said.
“ISC has the most prestigious panel of judges of all the songwriting and music contests in the world, offering exposure and the opportunity to have your songs heard by the most influential decision-makers in the music industry.”
