Call for applications: National Children’s Theatre music, dance teachers
The National Children’s Theatre (NCT) in South Africa is inviting qualified candidates to submit applications to teach music and dance at its institution in Parktown, Johannesburg.
The successful candidates will facilitate Saturday workshops in the disciplines of music and dance.
Requirements
The teacher must have:
- One year experience working with children aged between 7 and 18.
- Specialist knowledge in his/her field.
- Knowledge and ability to teach different techniques and work toward two showcases per year.
- Passion for developing young performers.
Dates and times
- Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.
- Venue: National Children’s Theatre, 3 Junction Avenue, Parktown.
Term dates:
- Term 3: 23 July – 17 September.
- Term 4: 15 October – 3 December.
