Call for applications: Lancaster Music Festival 2023
The organisers of the Lancaster Music Festival (LMF) in the UK are inviting artists around the world and from any genre to submit applications for the 2023 edition to take place from 12 to 15 October.
- UK electronic art rock band Shape Of Water performing at the 2022 edition of the Lancaster Music Festival.
LMF consists of over 50 stages and venues around the city centre. The application is designed for the LMF-programmed stages where the organisers are primarily interested in artists performing mainly original music, with all genres considered.
Interested artists should apply here before 31 May.
If possible, applicants should provide a link to a minimum of three audio or video files to allow the organisers to review their act properly.
Applicants should note the following when choosing their tracks for review:
- Applicants can be judged by the music in their links, and the organisers do not have the resources to look beyond those links.
- Submitted tracks must reflect the line-up that will appear at the festival.
- Applicants who submit links to a channel or page, such as Spotify, Soundcloud or YouTube, will review the first three tracks as they appear on the channel or page.
“If you mostly perform covers please contact venues directly,” LMF said. “Please note that a large proportion of performances at LMF are programmed directly by the venues. We aim to inform successful applicants by 30 June 2023. Also please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, it is likely that we will only be able to respond to successful applicants.”
