Showcase Wednesday with Abdi Jero

Don’t miss the Chalbi desert grooves with Abdi Jero all the way from Marsabit.  Nomadic music of the Borana, the largest sub-ethnic group of the Oromo-speaking people who migration from southern Ethiopia to Northern Kenya. The name Borana means 'free', in reference to their nomadic nature. Abdi Jero was also featured on the Spotlight on Kenyan Music Vol. 5, a  compilation of music from Northern Kenya.
