Sauti za Busara is organised by Busara Promotions, a non-profit NGO registered in Zanzibar since 2003. BBC World Service hails it as 'one of Africa's best and most respected music events'. It’s also included in CNN's list of ‘7 African music festivals you really have to see’.

The Call for Artists is open until 31st July 2020. Whilst priority is given to unique musicians, women artists, young and upcoming talents, we encourage all quality live musicians playing music connected to Africa who are interested to apply to participate.
