PYSK Festival

The PYSK Festival 2020 is a three-day event curated both online and offline to be a learning, networking, and showcasing experience for performing poets, visual artists, musicians, social justice actors, public policy analysts, and state officers. The festival will leverage poetry, visual art, dialogue forums, and community outreach pop-up events to engage young Kenyans on issues surrounding human rights, and gender equality.

The crowning event will be an all-women poetry slam where poets that identify as women will take the stage to share perspectives on what it means to grow up a woman on the African continent through poetry.
