Lius Baruch, a Norwegian Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist from northern Brazil and now based in Oslo, blends Brazilian rhythms with a global sound shaped by performances across more than 10 countries.

He is joined by Amadou Bansa Cissokho, a renowned kora player, maker, and teacher from Dakar with deep Gambian roots. His mastery of the 21-string West African harp brings ancient traditions to life with a timeless, meditative beauty.

Their concert is an improvised dialogue between traditional West African melodies and the vibrant pulse of Brazilian percussion—a rich, cross-cultural exploration born from their first meeting in Dakar earlier this year.

This special night marks the beginning of a powerful collaboration ahead of their European tour in 2026.
