Emirandira

With the much anticipated album entitled "Emirandira" from Mbale rapper Leumas Owabajaja, the artist will be hosting the album release with a production at the Elgon Cinema Hall on the 8th of June, in Mbale Uganda. The show will take the audience on a journey of African History, and explores the effect of modern trends on African culture. His message takes us back to whom we really are in our African heritage, and encourages the audience to appreciate, embody, and not to forget our "Emirandira" (roots).

Leumas will perform as the main act, displaying music from his album, while telling a continuous story through spoken word storytelling, singing, theater, and dance. Opening acts and interludes will include poetry, dance, and song, all from artists around Uganda, such as Wesuta Derick, Geoffrey Oryema, Kabatesi Patra Mbogo, San Cee, Umukuka Blazy, Black & White, Martha Namutosi and Dance crews such as ABC FLEVA, 3D Movement, The Battle Wolves, among many others
