The Music on the Hill Awards (MOTHAs) presents the 1st Annual Music on the Hill Awards (MOTHAs) to recognize, celebrate and honor outstanding achievements in the South African music industry. Proudly sponsored by Olivia Cosmetics and presented by numerous agencies and organizations.

The Music on the Hill Awards (MOTHAs) are unique as they are the only awarding body in South Africa that will celebrate excellence of not only performers but also technical assist professionals such as producers, teachers, record labels, event organizers etc.

The Music on the Hill Awards (MOTHAs) are founded by and overseen by Awarded-Music Promoter and Author Mr. Innocent Shezi of Shezi Entertainment (Pty) Ltd.

The presentation of these categories will also encourage the creativity and production of works that can qualify in these fields ensuring to strengthen the South African music industry and providing a platform for those in the business to be seen and acknowledged.

AWARDS, CERTIFICATES AND MEDALS

Each nominee will receive a medal of Nomination, certificate and will be regarded for their entire career as MOTHA Nominated. Contributing individuals on more than forty-percent (40%) of a nominated project may also apply for a certificate after the main award ceremony has been held.

The winners of each category will receive a trophy, certificate of winning and various prizes from relevant sponsors and partners of the Music On The Hill Awards which will be announced closer to the event. Contributing individuals on a winning project may apply for a certificate of ‘Contributing on a winning Project’

Certificates and medals will be issued one month after the main awards and will be mailed to all who applied.
