À travers WAX, il défend une vision contemporaine et audacieuse des musiques issues des cultures africaines, en valorisant leur richesse, leurs ancrages et leurs hybridations dans les dynamiques actuelles des musiques amplifiées. Découvreur de talents, producteur de spectacles internationaux et spécialiste reconnu des circuits de diffusion en Europe et dans le monde, il s’impose comme un acteur stratégique pour l’export des musiques émergentes et innovantes. En 2024, et à la commande de structures privées de formation continu et initiale, Sylvain DARTOY crée des modules de transmission à la carte sur la thématique "Stratégie de Booking/diffusion".
