Call for entries: Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film 2020
The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is calling on directors, production companies, distributors or everyone involved in the process of animation films creation, to submit animated films for a competition in Germany, from 5 to 10 May 2020.
The festival presents a full, up-to-date spectrum of animated filmmaking and its intersections with music, visuals effects, architecture, art, design and games. ITFS focuses on artistic animated films, innovations in the field of interactive and transmedia projects, as well as the promotion of young talent.
A total of 90,000 € ($111,000) in prize money will be awarded in various competition sections. The organisers will accept animated films produced after 1 October 2018. Interested filmmakers should submit animated films in any of the following competition categories:
Films can be now submitted to the following competition categories:
- International Competition (International short film competition)
- Young Animation (International student film competition)
- Tricks for Kids (International competition for short films for children)
- AniMovie (International feature-length film competition)
