Layne Tadesse

Layne Tadesse was born in Eritrea, located in East Africa, just north of Ethiopia near the Red Sea to Negesty Kiros and Tadesse Lassa. Layne is no stranger to war and a desire for freedom. With war between Eritrea and Ethiopia beginning shortly after Layne was born, his family became refugees. After a long journey and years of struggle his family eventually made it to America and settled in Southern California.

Layne is a positive example of turning adversity into opportunity. He credits his family for his early musical influences which are deeply rooted in Reggae music and grew up around many musicians; most of whom were family members. Layne plans on spreading positive vibes and soul-stirring music to the world!
