Bio
Joyce Babatunde is an Afro-soul music and spoken word artist from Cameroon.
Her music is a melting pot of genres with strong soul influences. She is one of the laureates of the Goethe Decouverte 2018, Cameroon. A win which launched her onto the country's live music scene. She brings a prolific wordplay and dynamic sonic coloration cutting across neo soul, rap, jazz - but with African rhythmic patterns and chants. Conveying what she calls the Masterpiece Mentality (the power of uniqueness and individuality to impact the world), her music and live shows are a one of a kind immersive experience which showcase her own cocktail of Afrosoul.
Her album is slated for release in July 2023
