NGQAH

Siyavuya Khonza, professionally known as NGQAH, is a talented artist born and bred in the Eastern Cape Province, in the vibrant village of Tiki Tiki, KuTsolo. NGQAH's music journey began with dance and choreography, showcasing his energetic performances from a young age. Despite exploring various talents like acting, music remained his true passion.

With the guidance of choreographers, including his friend Mlampire, NGQAH honed his skills and officially became a professional artist in 2014. He recorded House Music genres like Afro House, Kwaito House, and Gqom at X Fire SA Studio Production company, owned by DJ SPEAKS.

NGQAH's breakthrough came in 2018 when he was discovered by Slick Entertainment, owned by Unathi Sifici, and released an EP called "Kwa Thobeka" and "Ngoma Yam", which gained traction, playing on local radio stations and beyond the Eastern Cape. NGQAH has shared stages with renowned artists like Mobi Dixon, Nichume, Musa, and Black Coffee. He worked with Sound of Buyas to perfect his sound.

NGQAH founded a label, NGQAH Entertainment, in 2022, where he released his EP in 2023, 'Zidla'Zigoduka'. NGQAH was nominated for the 6th Annual Eastern Cape Awards. He has been featured in Daily Sun Newspaper and on radio stations like Ingwane FM, UCR FM, Star FM, and Voice FM.
