James W. Jasay, a Gospel Musician, songwriter, and producer, was born in Liberia, West Africa, on February 9, 1999. Growing up in a devout Christian household under the guidance of Rev. and Mrs. J Noah Jasay, James was immersed in the ministry from a young age, eventually discovering his deep-rooted passion for music through his involvement in the children's ministry.
Education and Artistic Development:
2016 James completed his high school education at Ricks Institute in Virginia, Liberia. At Ricks, he excelled academically and stood out as a lead singer in the renowned Ricks choir. His multifaceted talents extended beyond music as he actively served as a technical contributor to the Dragons News Network, showcasing his diverse skill set and dedication to various facets of creativity. James successfully became the student body president during his final year at the school.
With an unwavering commitment to his musical journey, James pursued higher education at Cuttington University, graduating in 2022. His time at the university allowed him to deepen his understanding of music theory, production, and performance, further refining his craft as a gospel musician.
