Bio
Born on 11 February 1997, Nsikayesizwe David Ngcobo, better known by his stage name Nasty C, is a South African hip-hop musician, songwriter and record producer from the Kwazulu-Natal Province. Nsikayesizwe developed an interest in music at the age of nine where he began rapping. He draws his musical influences from his older brother who was a producer at the time. He earned his stage name from his first producer. He looks up to fellow South African rappers AKA, Khuli Chana and Reason, whose music motivated him.
Best known for his single 'Way It Go' by DJ Switch featuring Tumi and Youngsta, mastered the process of music production and began adding his vocals on the beats he was making, later signing to Durban based artist management company, Free World Music.
Nasty C also did a well-received remix to his single 'Juice Back' which features Davido and Cassper Nyovest. As of 2015, he was the youngest recipient of the Best Freshman Award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards.
He also released his first mixtape 'One Kid a Thousand Coffins' on 24 May 2013 followed by his sophomore project titled 'C L.A.M.E' (Extended Play Version) – EP which was released on 4 April 2014. L.A.M.E. is an acronym for "Levitating Over My Enemies"
On 10 February 2015, he released another mixtape titled 'Price City On'. On 9 January 2016, he was featured on Anatii and Cassper Nyovest's collaborative single 'Jump'. The official music video for the remix to the single was released on 17 January 2016.
