Bio

Lengwe is a Zambian born and catholic raised musician who grew up in Ndola city. He began liking music when he was in high school where he formed a group called Mikate Clan. Next up was the PBI crew. This saw him working with artists like Yumba, Sachi, Chiqo B and Swissh.

He later met Typhoon, DJ Jam Wizard and founded Dream Team. Jam Wiz introduced them to a music producer called from Iron-Horn studios and Tyme Lyne Entertainments (TLE).

They releasing their debut RnB album called ‘Typhoon & Deep – Low’. The project featured tracks like ‘Unitaila Ntawi’, ‘Mwina Mwandi’ and ‘Shipikisha’. In 2005 he met Double TMK and they recorded a song called ‘Knock The House Down’ featuring Skyscraper, Kritic and Magnum44.

In 2007 they dropped a mixtape project under TLE which features songs like ‘Nangubalande’, ‘Drowning’, ‘I Don’t Care’ and ‘Nganalishebe’. In 2009 he went solo and released a mixtape titled ‘Deep-Low’ (Doing it again) featuring songs like ‘What We Do’, ‘RIP’, ‘Ifintu Nakwata’ and ‘VIP Model’.

In 2010 he lost his niece Natasha (Jelly Tot) and featured on a song called ‘Ekondeya’ by the Blessed Brothers (Elisha Chikonde & Jethro Chikwanda). The song was produced by Artson from Xblusters studios in Itawa, Ndola.

In 2013 he ventured into gospel music and worked on his debut album called ‘Nangubalande’ released that same year. The project is a fusion of rap and pop elements. It featured artists such as Suna, Ruth (Kristal), B.O.C.,T.A, Stanislaus, Blessed Brothers, SiFe, Norbet, CIA, Kelvin (DMK) Br Mukuka and many others. It features songs such as ‘Real Love’, ‘Godforbid’, ‘Chapters’, ‘Nanaka’, ‘Aladwila’, ‘Alempala’, ‘Bless The Lord’ and ‘What The Lord Has Done’.

In 2015 he released a second album titled ‘Musha Malumbo‘. ‘Musha Malumbo’ features Kelvin (DMK) and is about praising God.
