Monthati Masebe

Monthati Masebe is a music composer, pianist and vocalist. They have had their works performed all over the world and are one of the rising music composers on the continent. True to their multitalented being, Monthati is also acting in south african soapie Generations the Legacy as the first non-binary character to make south african national television. They are an advocate for mental health awareness and inclusivity. As a black non-binary womxn who is under-represented Monthati tries to create content that is inclusive and raises awareness about marginalised groups of society. They also are an indigenous music archivist and have done a wide array of musical works that embrace instruments and sounds that are at risk of being erased from history.
