Neo Pheleu (born 15 July 1996) known professionally as Zanzenx1996xx is a young South African songwriter, producer, composer, graphic designer & musician characterized by facial piercings,dreadlock hairstyles & androgynous fashion.His music is defined often by spiritual,dark unorthodox,unconventional lifestyle imagery built on a melodic goth/emo approach to trap,experimenting with all sorts of sound combinations and sounding eclectic.Born in Tembisa and raised in Kempton Park(EastRand) Zanzenx1996xx gained initial recognition following the commercial release of his EP AUGMENTED DYSTOPIA.He continued working and mastering his craft then approaching the end of November 2020 he decided to release the first part of “The Divine Comedy“trilogy,which consisted of 3 Eps titled Purgatorio,Paradiso,and Inferno,6tracks on each Ep.The rest of the trilogy only got released back to back in December 2020.The project was inspired by one of the most important poets in the Middle Ages,an Italian poet named Dante Alighieri.The project was a success and gained him a lot of dedicated listeners and followers also paving the way to the”indigo punk new wave”.In early 2021 he makes a debut appearance on”No Connections” a Song by an Emo Rap American Artist “Wither J”.This was Zanzenx1996xx first and only feature so far.A few months later he released a teaser of what we should expect of his next season of music which is titled”JC Le Roux”,he then returns with a new 6track installment called“BAD WAV”.
