Real name Yetunde Alabi, she is often described as Nigeria's finest female Hip-Hop artiste and styled "Africa's first lady of Hip-Hop".

Signed to the Storm 360 label, she started her career in 2003, winning a dedicated fan-base entranced by her lyrical mastery and powerful stage presence. Her big break came, when she was signed to Storm and released her hit debut "Adara", with follow-on single "Only one" shortly after. Her long-acknowledged talents were recognised almost instantly with her winning four awards within months of these releases, namely the Women in Entertainment award in the UK, for best new artiste, the Sound City awards for best video and best cinematography and the best Music video in the Channel O awards of 2009.

However before this in 2008, she had made history as the first ever Nigerian female artist to perform at the 20th anniversary of the World Music Awards, sharing the stage with International stars like Boys 2 men, Dru Hill, Rihanna, Shakira, P Diddy, John Legend and R Kelly

She was to add further awards in 2010 and 2011, establishing herself as one of Nigeria's finest young musical talents and exports.
