Sangie (born Angel Mbekeani) is a multi-award-winning Malawian reggae and dancehall artist, songwriter, and actress known for her soulful voice and impactful lyrics. Based in Blantyre, she has become one of the most prominent female voices in Malawi’s music industry, often incorporating themes of love and social empowerment into her work.
