Sam Deep

Sam Deep, whose real name is Samukelo Rorisang Mavuso, is a South African producer and DJ. He was born in April 2001, and is from Orlando West in Soweto. 

When he was younger he had aspirations of becoming a professional footballer. He trained and played club football at youth level and was considered a prospect. In 2016, at the age of 15, he decided to shift careers and dedicated himself to a career as a DJ and producer. 

After years of developing his craft and building a reputation for himself his breakthrough officially came in 2022 with his single “Kusezo Khanya,” featuring Babalwa M, Playgal, and De Mthuda. The song was a hit which quickly amassed millions of streams across platforms. 

He has since gone on to release multiple projects including his latest album at the time of writing called Who Am I.He has also worked with some of the biggest artists in the industry. His collaborative album, Kings of Kwapi Vol 1 is a collaboration between himself and prominent producers Stixx, and Nvcho. The trio are credited with being pioneers of the Kwapi genre. 

Sam Deep has accomplished so much in the music industry in such a relatively short amount of time. There is still much more to come from this talented producer.
