Ronin Ali has performed all over the world including Philadelphia, Need human iw York, Atlanta, Germany, Kuwait , Italy, etc., opening up for artists such as the Fugee’s and Erykah Badu. Ronin Ali also sang background for Philadelphia’s legendary powerhouse Lady Alma; was a part of the short lived reunion of Change (which featured its lead vocalist the late, great Luther Vandross) & recorded a song with late jazz giant Mulgrew Miller. Most notably he has been the main drummer for Rock 'n' Roll vocalist/guitarist Ghettosongbird. He performs with the party band Jellyroll and with them performed at the White House (United States Of America) twice (between 2007 and 2008). He has sung alongside songstress Carol Riddick and also sat in with the legendary funk/world-music band Mandrill on percussion. You can hear Ronin on Austrian DJ/producer The Functionist’s album (The Coalitions: Part 1) on the album opener “Right There/It’s Right Here” as well as two other tracks with female emcee Toni Blackman (named U.S. Ambassador Of Hip-Hop). He has also performed in Las Vegas at TAKE THE STAGE, Sherry Gordy's (daughter of Motown founder Berry Gordy) weekly show.

Ronin Ali's latest release JEWEL OF THE NOW, a perfect volume of "Jazzy Soul" mixed with HIP-HOP & superb lyricism, is an album full of good music that translates into a great live show.

For the Jazz sector of his career he has performed three times at New York City’s Club Bonafide; owned by legendary/multi-talented musician Richard Bona. Most recently he performed two days in a row at the 2018 Rehoboth Jazz Festival.

He regularly does clinics/workshops (one of which he calls DRUMS & LIFE) at the African American Museum of Philadelphia (as well as schools, libraries & other institutions). He shares & teaches the history of percussion instruments while simultaneously teaching the history of people. He believes gifts are to be shared, particularly knowledge & wisdom. He is always ready to share what he has learned with youth; the ones who can take it beyond where it is already.
