Renstar Boy (born August 23, 2000) is a Nigerian-born, British–American DJ, recording artist, songwriter, and producer known for his genre-blending Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afro-fusion sound. As an entrepreneur and music executive, he has held a wide range of roles in the music industry – including audio engineer, mixing and mastering engineer, music director, executive producer, creative director, label executive, A&R executive, publisher, and music manager – in addition to performing as a DJ and content creator. Renstar Boy is the founder and CEO of several companies: he launched Ecomnivanserl Music Corporation (EMC) ™ in 2015 and Vibysttxr Music Group (VMG) in 2017 (serving as Founder & Executive Chairman), and later founded the Songetify music‐tech platform and Renzti Corporation (under the Renzti Holdings umbrella) to support his music ventures. His multinational career is anchored in Lagos, Nigeria (with operational hubs in London, UK and New York, USA), reflecting his Nigerian, British, and American identity.

Career

Renstar Boy began releasing music in 2015 and has been active in the industry since then. In 2017 he established Vibysttxr Music Group (VMG), a full-service record label and creative agency. Under VMG, he has developed artists and released music internationally, securing editorial playlist placements and radio support across Africa, Europe and North America. VMG’s multinational footprint (headquartered in Lagos with hubs in New York and London) enables global release strategies and cross-border marketing. He continues to expand VMG’s roster with emerging talents and collaborates closely with in-house producers (such as Renzti Sounbeatz and Legendzury) to craft his releases.

Musically, Renstar Boy’s work is genre-fluid and experimental, blending contemporary Nigerian sounds with global influences. His songs often feature vibrant Afrobeat rhythms and amapiano grooves, while also touching on gospel, hip-hop and other styles. Over the years he has released a string of singles and EPs that showcase his evolving sound and collaborative approach. Notable tracks include the 2022 single “Shock Them,” which garnered regional streaming and radio attention, and the 2024 single “Forever.” In 2025, he released several high-profile collaborations – for example, “Soar” (feat. Bysttxr, Halix & Ralix, Legendzury & Renzti Sounbeatz) and “Echoes” (feat. Halix, Ralix & Legendzury) – that highlight his connection with fellow VMG artists. Across all his releases, Renstar Boy is credited as the primary songwriter and producer, and he often takes a hands-on role in the mixing and mastering of his music.
