People Of The Sun Productions

People Of The Sun Productions was founded in 2010 by Solly Malatsi. It specialises in live entertainment and stages reggae concerts. Among many past achievements, People Of The Sun staged their first international concert in Soweto featuring the legendary Jamaican roots band The Twinkle Brothers. Since then, People Of The Sun has been involved in organising and promoting reggae events all over South Africa, always ensuring high professional standards. Other international reggae stars they have hosted include Luciano, Anthony B, Micah Shemiah and Massicker (aka King Mas).

The company started an initiative called Reggae Against Rape and Abuse (RARA) to spread the message through music to fight rape and abuse in our communities. They have worked with local talent like Black Dillinger, Tidal Waves, Jeremiah Fyah Isis, Skin2Soul, Undivided Roots and Nkulee Dube, among others.
