Nalu
Bio
Nalu (real name Nalwamba Sinah Namukoko) is a female musician from Lusaka, Zambia. She is the third born in a family of seven children. She attended Namununga, Nsansa and Nkwazi primary schools. She completed her secondary school at Mpelembe. Her love for music was prompted by her parents who loved music. Back then she used to sing in concerts, at nursery school and also at primary school. She draws her music influence from artists such as Ringo and Rebecca Malope.
In 1999, she performed for KTV talent show as guest artist which was broadcasted on M-Net TV station broadcasting to 41 countries in Africa. Shortly afterwards, she recorded and released her debut album titled ‘House, Money and Car’. This was followed by another album called ‘Siningankale Wakumbali’. The album featured songs such as
‘Wakumbali’, ‘Alive and Well’, ‘Walila’, ‘Mutima’, ‘Time’, ‘Ups and Downs’ remix, ‘Nkani ya Choncho’, ‘Ndiwe Weka’ and others.
