He is widely recognised as one of the leading young figures in the contemporary Xigaza movement, a genre rooted in Tsonga musical traditions and language while incorporating modern production techniques and urban influences. Emerging in the early 2020s, MetroBeatz RSA built a reputation for blending culturally grounded lyricism with energetic, youth-driven soundscapes, contributing to the growth and modernization of Tsonga-language music within South Africa’s broader commercial music landscape.
