Mag44

Mag44 is an esteemed producer and singer from Zambia known for his creative and awesome beats. He is also a minister of the gospel. He has produced hits like 'Vichani', 'Fyn' 'Fyn Boy' and 'Chikondi' for Tio. In June 2012 he teamed up with three local artists namely Pompi Tio and Abel Chungu on the release of a music video supporting Chipolopolo Africa Unlimited ahead of a match against Ghana.

In May 2016 Mag44, Pompi and Abel Chungu were nominated at the Groove Awards in Kenya. Groove Awards, whose vision is to shape culture through positive content and entertainment, recognises and celebrates gospel artistes in Kenya and the region for their commendable skill and positive influence to the body of Christ. The event announced the trio as individual nominees in the Southern Africa Artiste of the Year category, alongside Benjamin Dube from South Africa, Joyous Celebration, also of South Africa and Tembelami from Zimbabwe.

As of June 2016 he had released two albums namely 'Jijue' and 'Brave Only'. Mag44 has also produced albums for artists like Kanji, Pompi, Abel Chungu, The Proof and Tio. He started off as a secular artist but later decided to divert his focus on gospel. Some of his songs are 'More To You', 'Dance Before You Sit', 'Apologise', 'Bulandi New', 'One Hit Wonder', 'Go' and 'Lusaka'.
