Bio
Marie-Pierra Kakoma, professionally known as Lous and the Yakuza, is a Congolese-Belgian singer, rapper, songwriter, model, and multidisciplinary artist. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Belgium, she blends Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop, and trap with cinematic and artful visuals, creating a unique global sound.
She rose to prominence with her debut single Dilemme in September 2019, followed by Tout est gore (December 2019) and Solo (March 2020), quickly establishing herself as a distinctive voice in European and African music scenes. Her music often explores themes of identity, love, ambition, and resilience, delivered with a poetic and emotive style.
