Kungoni Centre of Culture and Art

The Kungoni Centre of Culture and Art is a non-profit organization in Mua, Malawi. It was founded by Claude Boucher Chisale. The idea is to give locals a variety of training opportunities thus improving their incomes. Founded in 1976, the center also developed a culture sector which includes the Chamare Museum, the research center, local traditional dancing troupe and cultural courses. It employs over 120 people and is reportedly introducing a new project called Kumbewu (The Seed).
