Johanson has been known by a few
names in his career but now he has found
his identity and is ready for the world to
know the man behind the music.
The Malawian and South African singer,
rapper, and beat maker started rapping as
part of the Dirty Dealingz Crew in
Birmingham, England. He then released a
solo album titled '2Di' that was well
received in the city with a feature from
Screama of 1418 who recently produced a
song that acheived 1million views on
YouTube. He then turned down a deal with
Miss Money Pennies for a viral funky
house track he featured on called 'Hit the
floor' as he didn't like the direction the
music was going.
He acheived a distinction in his
composition module at The British
Academy of New Music wich boasts
alumni such as Rita Ora. After college he
got 100,000 downloads on his hit song
'Concrete Safari' when it was placed on
the Music of Africa mixtape. Not
surprisingly 'Concrete Safari' was also
number 1 on MBCtv and Power 101fm
Malawi with a UK and South Africa remix featuring Malik(MD7) and VEE.
He boasts recording music and sharing a
stage with many artists including Skinny
man, Stunner, Tay Grin, Janta, & Gwamba.
In the pipeline he has features being
recorded with Fifi Cooper and Dan Lu.
Since the name change and the release of
his 2019 underground hit album 'The Re-
Up' LP (wich he released for free) he has
signed a 20 year record deal with Big Sam
Entertainment RSA and is set to take the
music industry by storm producing more
number ones and running his publishing
company Moneymade Entertainment
from his studio in Lilongwe, Malawi.
