JD Sibanji
Bio
JD Sibanji is a seasoned rapper, poet, and performing artist whose creative journey began in youth ministry and has since expanded to international stages. After honing his craft through CHARIS Arts Phase 2, he went on to co-found and chair Spoken Hitgalut at Northmead Assembly of God, where he led the group for five years.
Throughout his career, Sibanji has been a prolific collaborator and solo artist. He contributed to two albums with the gospel movement Remnants (Tembenuka, 2012; Revival, 2019) and has released four solo projects, culminating in his 2025 album, Alkebulan Fists: Rise Up.
His dynamic performance style has earned him spots on prestigious platforms, including the Zambia Music Awards, with international performances spanning South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia.
