Gnagna Koné


Gnagna Koné is a Senegalese communications and events manager based in Dakar.

Koné's introduction in the entertainment industry came in 2007 when she helped DJ friends of hers to organise an event. She joined the music sector on a full-time basis in 2010 when she began managing a local hip hop group.

She co-founded and co-produced OGWeekender, the first Afro-house festival in West Africa held in Dakar, Senegal in 2013 with TchoubTchoub Senegalize.

In 2012, she founded her own event production company called Grande Ourse. In 2015, she joined the organising team of the International Reggae Festival of Abidjan as a communications officer.

Koné also works as a consultant in the non-profit sector with NGOs and international organisations. In 2017, she launched Teranga Jam Fest.
